I read this in one sitting. A captivating read! Cindy took me on her journey and I now have a better understanding of mental health, addiction and recovery. Her ability to describe the family dynamics and their personal stories were insightful and at times hard to read, but necessary. I’m so sorry, Austin, you had to go through this most painful experience, but enormously grateful you recognized the strength within you to continue life’s journey. Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow!
5.0 out of 5 stars I could not put this book down!

This story is written beautifully! Any parent would benefit from reading this gut wrenching example of loving and supporting a troubled child. I am so grateful that the Weber family found the help they did.

I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down and I don’t remember the last time that I did that.
This was such an honest and raw depiction of a family’s love and determination for their son, it forces you to see and feel what depression can do to not only the person that is in it but everyone around them. And highlights the lack of real medical care that is provided in this country. Is there a more important time to rethink our perceptions on mental health? It is time to require more from the insurance companies, our government, and our medical community.
